Encore at Wynn - Las Vegas Hotel Review
Encore Wynn, Las Vegas, owned by Wynn Resorts, Limited, opened December 22, 2008 and is considered the signature resort in the Wynn collection. Situated next to Wynn, the property includes over two thousand las vegas suites, restaurants, shopping, casino and corporate or meeting areas.
Everything is breathtaking at Encore, from the casino areas in gorgeous pinks, to the spa facility in austere golds, and common areas of vibrant reds and subtle browns, all lit with magnificent chandeliers, and finished with tropical lush gardens on the perimeter of the hotel. Dining is entertainment here, as the food is prepared by some of the best chefs in the world. And the word "food" is not even appropriate as this is a culinary experience to behold. So wonderful and awe-inspiring are the presentations, it is difficult to think about marring these fine masterpieces in order to eat them.
The casino is uniquely intimate. Instead of large sprawling, open floors like traditional Las Vegas casinos, Encore's casino is sectioned off with columned pavilions, canopies and draperies to make each area more private. To add to the ambiance, the area is designed with a butterfly motif to offer luck, and the views of the garden or pool outside are stunning. The casino houses table games such as Baccarat and Caribbean Stud, over eight hundred slot machines in denominations of one cent to five thousand dollars, twenty-six poker tables with various dollar limits, and a special lounge for race and sports betting. For those who can afford it and choose to use credit, the casino offers an online credit application.
Attention to detail is a hallmark of Encore at Wynn, and to welcome all guests, the hotel has available motorized wheelchairs, high speed internet in both the rooms and business center, as well as a salon that caters to guests of the hotel and visitors from outside. Further, sixty thousand feet of impeccable meeting space allures the most grandiose affair whether a small board meeting or a huge pep rally complete with entertainment, catering, and technology equipment. Indeed, a wedding in the columnless ballroom would rival Cinderella at her royal ball.
Guests reserving spa treatments or in-room massages are permitted to take full advantage of the other facilities including the sauna, steam room, showers and fitness area while guests who prefer to use the wet areas alone will be required to pay a daily fee or purchase a three day pass.
Luxurious and posh suites with floor to ceiling windows are offered in various sizes from seven hundred square feet to two thousand three hundred feet. All include office equipment, wet bar, television in the bathroom, European linens, massage and powder rooms in the bigger units, and of course, oversized towels and robes and slippers.
"Uniquely Wynn, Distinctly Encore".
